1.Required Security Technical Analyst (Unix & Linux Security Admin)
Level: INTERMEDIATE/SENIOR
Location: Bloomington
Duration: Long term - currently till end of 2013 with possibility of renewal
Skillset: Security - TA
Deployment Role: Border Protection Platform Security Development
Task Description: This need is for systems technical service support for the enterprise secure messaging system supported within the Border Protection component within Enterprise Information Security and Directory Services (EISDS). Primary responsibilities are problem management level service support for a vendor product secure email solution and its integration with Statefarm.com technical components and business processes. This position will also participate in project work related to maintaining and upgrading the system.
Knowledge, experience and skills needed for this position include:
· Knowledge and use of HTML/CSS/JavaScript.
· Experience with adding/updating web page elements on customer facing integration applications (preferably State Farm's), and vendor developed screens.
· Ability to understand and support the secure messaging system's interaction and integration with distributed systems technologies in use at State Farm including:
Web Sphere
Web Seal
Client Register
Windows Web Farm
Dynamic Password Lookup (DPL)
Global Server Load Balancing
· Development and maintenance of Unix automation scripts to automate recovery of recurring problems as required.
· Use of Unix administration skills to perform connectivity and functionality tests of infrastructure components, and view/filter log files during troubleshooting.
· Knowledge of email systems and email routing including X-headers, handoffs, and email security technologies.
Additional experience and skills preferred:
- Developing requirements for and performing user acceptance testing.
· Developing and maintaining technical documentation such as Visio diagrams, logical application flows, and system change documentation.
· Experience managing, executing, and communicating infrastructure changes, security patches, and enterprise Server Releases (ESR's).
· Knowledge and experience with ITIL based service management practices.
· Strong troubleshooting and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.
2. Project Technical Coordinator
Level: INTERMEDIATE

Location: Bloomington
Duration: Long term - currently till end of 2013 with possibility of renewal
Skillset: Technical Coordination - TA
Deployment Role: Technical Coordination Req Testing
Task Description: The ability to coordinate technical infrastructure and software testing, lead teams of testers, and coordinate testing work. Manage creation of test documentation including: gathering input and feedback, planning, documenting, negotiating, influencing, and communicating. Includes working with other project roles including planning, security, monitoring, configuration management and other resources using "skills plus" strategies to keep work moving forward.
The following knowledge is required for this skill:
State Farm Knowledge:
- Project methodology
- Knowledge of State Farm ICP testing processes & best practices
Marketable (Industry) Knowledge:
- General project management concepts
- Broad IT knowledge base
- Communication expertise
- Strong coordination skills
- Knowledge of multiple technologies/IT platforms
