Position: SAP Senior Technical Developer – ABAP/PI
Duration: 3-6 months
Location: Wilton CT
Candidates should have strong ABAP and PI experience with a background doing SAP implementations
Required Skills:
· Provide PI mapping, configuration and technical integration support
· Provide functional and ABAP expertise, collaborating and reviewing, coaching, mentoring and knowledge transfer to ABAP community
· Perform unit test and coordinate acceptance testing with functional teams
· Translate functional specifications into technical specifications
· Develop applications using the appropriate programming tools and complete all documentation associated with applications developed
· Collaborate with multiple functional areas on the SAP team to develop requirements and provide solutions
· Provide supports to the Development, Integration and Technical Services teams
· Participate in cross-training with the other technical developers
· Follow the defined SAP development standards
· Assist with developing preliminary cost estimates for implementing new functionality or upgrades
Experience:
· Bachelor's degree in the field of computer science, information sciences, or related field
· Minimum 7 years' experience in application development utilizing ABAP
· Minimum 3 years progressive experience using PI 7.0 or higher
· Minimum 2 full life cycle SAP implementation
· Demonstrated experience with large Enterprise ERP implementations in the areas of technical design specification, and development
· Experience in User exit enhancements, BADIs and BAPI
· Experience with SAP archiving and workflow development is preferred
· Proven experience in designing and configuring SAP ECC 6.0 integrations with SAP/Non SAP systems and cross-functional business solutions within PI
· Knowledge of Internet protocols such HTTP, FTP and SOAP
· Demonstrated experience with XI/PI graphic mapping, ABAP mapping or Java mapping.
· Hands on experience in Runtime workbench, communication channel scheduling and Message Monitoring
· Possess strong analytical, programming, communication and interpersonal skills
· Business-oriented, results-oriented and customer service minded
