Project / Job Description: The Software QA Automation Engineer will be responsible for participating in and creating automation solutions across multiple components in an open, extensible framework that will support a wide variety of clients, servers and devices over a broad range of network environments. The SQA Automation Engineer will create solutions that reduce product validation test time by analyzing product and technical artifacts, designing and developing automated test solutions, and documenting and training others in the use of these tools. The successful candidate will have experience with developing automation frameworks for testing enterprise-class system software packages. Design, Build and Maintain Ranorex test automation scripts for UI, API, and Web Services. Execute Automated tests and reports defects by running automated tests; reviewing results of all tests and reporting anomalies into the defect tracking database; verifying the resolution of all defects for an assigned project.

Required/Must have Skills: (yrs exp, industry, platforms, languages, tools, etc): · Minimum of 4 years' experience in software testing; 5 years developing automated test scripts in a professional software development environment. • Ability to write automated tests using a programming language. Experience with other tools including Ranorex is also valuable. Awareness of industry automation standards. • Working knowledge of Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) automation methodologies. Working knowledge of debugging and root cause analysis. • Strong technical documentation skills. Superior attention to detail as well as strong verbal and written communication skills. • Self-starter with strong analytical skills who thrives on finding and resolving issues. Team player with an ability to work collaboratively with others. • Tools/Technology Preferences: Ranorex, Jenkins, API, SoupUI, SQL databases, Zephyr and JIRA • C# desired |
