Responsibilities:

 

•                    Requirements Gathering, Specifications Creation, Design Creation, Programming, Unit Testing, Preparation of System Documentation, Use of Oracle tools, Collaboration with Database, Infrastructure and Operations units. During the tenure of the contract and based on the abilities demonstrated, the bid winners may be asked to take on a leadership role of the team on these projects.

•                    Develops complex SQL statements using advanced analysis functions Design of Oracle Application express solutions using Oracle Design development

•                    Provide complex technical solutions and implementation of new technology initiatives relating to application development with Oracle tools.

•                    Architect, install, Maintain and support all of the following oracle products/technologies:

             Oracle Application Express (Apex)

             Oracle Database 10g/11g

             Data Warehousing (OWB)

•             Establishes an architectural model and a total solution for the department, establishes "best practices".

•             Provides strong professional consulting skills and the ability to communicate well at all levels of the organization.

•             Team player must be able to work professionally and collaboratively with the government customer and other members of the project team.

•             Establishing the long-term strategy and technical architecture

 

Skills Needed

·         At least 60 months experience with a large Government human services organization, which includes business knowledge, hands on technical design, development, maintenance and end user support of complex financial processing systems

·         84 Months experience Oracle Application Express (Apex) administering, designing, supporting and implementing version 4.0 or higher.

·         84 Months working with end users and development staff to design and implement report specifications / using architecture and processes of the Oracle server / Oracle Data Warehouse (OWB 10 g or higher)

·         84 Months experience in the transition of systems, including the transfer of knowledge and mentoring.

·         84 Months Demonstrated hands-on experience writing complex SQL, PL/SQL (stored procedures/functions) with Oracle 10g or higher.

·         84 months experience in the design of Oracle Data Warehouse 10g or higher (OWB)/ETL processes and ETL strategy, security, auditing, tuning and maintenance/ designing Operational Data Stores, Ad-Hoc reporting databases, or Data Marts, database design or utilizing /monitoring and tuning the general performance of the Oracle database

·         84 months Establishing long-term strategies and technical architectures as well as the short-term scope for a multi-phased complex Oracle data warehouse 10g or higher (OWB).

·         Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field.  Proof of Education is to be submitted with all responses.
