Role: Linux Administrator

Location: Little Rock AR 72201

Duration: 6-12 Months

Rate: $50/hr on C2C max and best

Ability to provide proof of experience and technical knowledge of:

Provisioning and configuration of Red Hat Enterprise Linux-based servers and applications/utilities such as Apache HTTP Server, DNS, NTP, Syslog, SNMP, and other custom Java-based applications.

Maintain and modify OS, security, and application configuration baseline.

Write UNIX/Linux shell scripts and build RPM-based packages to automate deployment of files across the production environment.

Perform installation and verification of OS and application updates, which include documentation. Work with senior systems engineers to resolve bugs and procedural errors in the update deployment.

Provide support in maintaining monitoring systems and assessing resource capacity issues.

Assist in all O&M and Production environment incidents and problems.

Ability to quickly learn, understand, and decompose complex enterprise systems into functional components.

Red Hat Enterprise Linux

VMWare, LDAP, DNS, TCP/IP networking

Shell scripting (perl, bash, python)
