Position: BI Architect (Cognos) with Hadoop Experience

Location: Beaverton (OR)

Duration: 6 Months

 

Job Description: 

 

·        At least 7 years of experience in technology consulting, enterprise and solutions architecture and architectural frameworks.

·        At least 7 years of experience in architecting BI solutions, define road map, solutions and options to build new BI platforms,  Data Virtualization and Visualization, exposure to various BI tools like in Cognos Query Studio, Cognos Report Studio, Teradata, Tableau, Data Integration development tools experience (e.g. Informatica, Oracle Fusion and similar middleware), Data Virtualization tools (e.g. Metamatrix, EDS, or Informatica middleware), experience in ETL, Data integration analysis and design.

·        Must have Big Data experience (Hadoop, Map R, HDFS, NoSQL) or similar.

·        At least 7 years of experience in project execution.

·        Experience in defining new architectures and ability to drive an independent project from an architectural stand point

·        At least 5years of experience in thought leadership, white papers and leadership/mentoring of staff and internal consulting teams.

·        Analytical skills, excellent verbal and written communication Skills.

·        Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment, onsite coordination and client management.
