We have a requirement with our direct client for a .NET Subject Matter Expert /Technical Business Analyst – Re-engineering Application, Raleigh, NC

Contract Position: .NET Subject Matter Expert /Technical Business Analyst
Location: Raleigh, NC
Duration: 8 months+
 
Duties:
·         Reengineering current Sex Offender Registry (SOR) solution - migration and compliance with federal Sex Offender Registry Notification Act (SORNA).

·         Analyze current SOR software and document the business rules

·         Share knowledge with permanent NC-DPS staff

·         Review database design specifications to ensure consistency and standardization within the database

·         Review and validate requirements and proposed solution design

·         Establish new workflows

·         Create a technical design that will mesh with NC-DPS standards

·         Unit testing of new and modified solutions

·         Validate data/reports

·         Defect resolution

·         Provide technical assistance to NCDPS technical and end user resources

·         Create and finalize documentation

·         Coordinate with NCDPS Business Analyst and SOR analysts to refine report requirements and review results

·         Create technical documentation as required

·         Assist and educate both technical end user community

 
Technical Skills /Experience Required
·         Strong Business Analyst Skills

·         BizTalk

·         C#

·         ASP.net

·         Web Services

·         Entity Framework

·         Team Foundation 2010

·         SQL Server 2008 R2

·         Education: -BA/BS computer science or information technology

·         Extensive knowledge of Visual Basic, PowerBuilder and SQL Server

·         Minimum 5 years analysis & programming experience with C#, BizTalk, SQL Server 2008 R2, ASP.net, Web Services and MS Access

·         Experience with requirements analysis, solution design/development, testing, execution, maintenance and documentation

·         Strong communication skills and effective team participation
