Position : Build Release Engineer
Location : San Antonio, TX
Duration: 6+ Months
Interview Mode : Phone then Skype
Requirement:
Our client is looking for a Release Engineer. This person would be the hands on analyst that would be supporting efforts in release management, at the point when the client is bringing applications from test/dev to releasing them into production.
Strong preference would be for candidates who have experience in .NET environments, with TFS as source control tool, but the VP said someone with release engineering/analyst experience in a Java environment would be considered as well.
I don't know how much he would consider it, because it sounds like he really wants TFS experience, so take that how you want to.
Key would be that this person would need to be involved with the process around releasing applications into deployments—they could have application analyst, systems analyst, or release analyst titles (or others).
