Title: Linux admin / Developer / Engineer
Location: San Antonio TX
Duration: Long Term
· Solid Linux/Unix System Administration (Ubuntu and RedHat/CentOS) *
· Administer JAVA based application (Glassfish, Weblogic, Tomcat, etc) *
· Knowledge and experience on DHCP, DNS, and TCP/IP networking.
· Significant scripting experience a must (Bash, Perl, Python or Ruby) *
· Experience in tools like Maven, Sonar, Chef, Puppet, Subversion is a huge plus.
· Well versed in protocols/technologies like HTTP, SSL, LDAP, JDBC, SQL. *
· Strong understanding of systems monitoring, alerting and analytics (NewRelic, Cacti, Graphite, Nagios etc). * --at least understand concepts
· Knowledge and experience of configuration management. *
· Knowledge and experience of build and Release automation. *
· Experience with production systems and dealing with production issues. *
· Clear written and verbal communication skills. *
· Experience and understanding of Agile Methodology.
· Software development background a plus.
· Knowledge of Hybrid Cloud Solutions.
· Ability to work closely with others under pressure.
