Java Performance tuning – Architect
Location: Weston, FL

Job Description:  
1.          Ensures technical design/implementation documentation completed to a high standard (delegating to Programmers as appropriate).

2.          Experience in Software Design Documentation.

3.          Implementation/ support documentation.

4.          Looking for advanced J2EE experience, with an excellent understanding of software development best practices, system architecture.

5.          Typically has experience as the lead developer or architect on enterprise-level Java & J2EE web applications.

6.          Must have experience in configuring applications with Websphere application server V 6 and above

7.          Including setting up datasources, MQ , JMS and Understanding of clustered environments

8.          Must have experience in : Struts, Spring, Web Services, Design Patterns, WebSphere Application Server, SOA, Maven, MQ or EAI.

9.          Must have relevant experience in either Spring/ORM or EJB and must be generally expert in enterprise-level Java technologies (e.g. Design Patterns, Hibernate, JDBC, Web Services, Struts, App Servers).

10.        Must have J2EE design experience using UML and OO Analysis and Design techniques.

11.        Strong experience performance tuning J2EE web applications.

12.        Experience with Subversion tools and maven build process is preferred.

13.        Excellent communication skills.

14.        J Meter Experience

15.        Experience in Performance tuning applications

Knowledge Required or Desired:
8+ Years of total Experience.
