DESCRIPTION
· Experience with a SQL Server 2008 databases to perform optimization to be done to ensure database is structured properly using SQL Optimization tools
· Proficiency with SQL 2008 required; Existing UI is built in PHP and is used to retrieve information; Knowledge of PHP is a big plus; The environment is Windows Server based
· Day to day activity includes in-depth web log analysis, identification of web pages with high download times; examine routines to determine pages with under optimized performance
· Other regular duties include examining logs and running optimization tools, as well as providing recommendations on changes to the data structure or to UI pages – to ensure that the UI and SQl Server 2008 database work well together.
· 1-3 years' experience with SQL Server 2008 required.
