We currently have an opportunity for a EDI/ Gentran Analyst  (EDI Developer) with a major company located in TX.     

 

Job Title	:	EDI/ Gentran Analyst  (EDI Developer)
Location	:	Houston, Texas
Duration	:	12 Months
Job Description	:	The EDI mainframe service will be responsible for both support and development work on the Mainframe (MVS/ZOS) platform for the EDI/GENTRAN environment. Support work involves daily operations of the EDI center that includes daily monitoring of the EDI mailbox, providing technical support/problem resolution for EDI Production problems, working with Business clients across the globe to resolve issues or responding to their inquiries. Development work involves developing and maintaining EDI transaction maps, liaising with both internal and external business clients while coordinating all the EDI Mapping requirements, providing work effort estimate, complete testing, debugging and implementation of the Maps into the Production environment as per the EDI Implementation guidelines Resolve production problems Respond to pager when on call Provide input to Team Lead/Supervisor or ADL on work effort estimates Develop/Maintain EDI Transaction maps
