OTM Technical Architect

Location: Beachwood, OH

Duration: 4-6 months

Rate: OPEN +expenses

• Fleet experience preferred. Good understanding of the life cycle of a transaction (origination, change, closure and auditability).
• Working knowledge of the OTM application technical platform, including database design, security, and automation agents.
• Working knowledge of architectures required to support OTM ie. operating system(s), middleware, hardware, etc.  Working knowledge of costs/ benefits/ risks of different forms of processing: STP vs. batch, SOA, triggered, parallel vs. serial, etc.
• Working knowledge of fault (system) & exception (business transaction) management as it pertains to alerting, monitoring, reporting, recoverability, prioritization and catch-up processing.   General knowledge of integration between OTM and other Oracle applications, specifically eBS with AR, OIC, and HRIS, and FTI.
• General knowledge of Oracle best practices regarding hardware, operating system(s), database design, maintenance, performance tuning, scalability, upgrades, purging, and data management.
• General experience with capacity planning with the Oracle suite of products, networking, web applications and architecture and hardware.
• Diversity in communication skills.  Need to be effective in communicating with a broad range of  functional and technical people.  Should be able to effectively lead and encourage conversations with people of a diverse range of skillsets
