Job Title: Developer

Duration: 1 year

Location: Norwalk, CT

 

 

Client is currently looking a Developer with Object Oriented Programming Background (C# or C or C++ Java or .Net) or  to join our team in Norwalk, CT.

 

 

Qualifications:

Software Application Development group; Design, development, test and documentation of software components and applications; Computer software systems support;

Scope

Software design, development, test and documentation. Provide technical support for QA and Production; Participate in requirements gathering process in software development projects; Research and evaluate technology solutions and architectures; Communicate with business groups and customers to provide necessary assistance in understanding  technical solutions.

Organizational Level

Corporate  Group  Division

Business Experience

4+ years experience in software development using  C# or Java or C++  and Knowledge of company business processes, data structures and systems; excellent research and analysis skills; excellent communication skills. Experience in computer software design and development. Experience with healthcare insurance business is a plus.

Education

4 year degree in computer science or related field or equivalent experience

Knowledge/
Skills

Must have strong object oriented development skills;

 

Strong communication skills in technical specifications, system documentation and on-going systems support.
Strong experience in MS Windows 2000/XP/2003 platforms.
Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with one following programming languages: C#, C++
Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with relational databases (Oracle preferable) as well as knowledge of SQL language.\
Knowledge and experience with Microsoft .NET technology
Pluses:
Hands-on experience in Oracle database technologies.
Previous experience in scripting languages (Tcl/Tk).
Experience in healthcare claim processing.
Must be reliable and devoted to completing assigned projects on schedule with minimal supervision.
