Daily Duties / Responsibilities: 

1. Manage ETL scripts and databases used with PowerSchool data collections.

2. Design, implement and test data model(s) for the data warehouse.

3. Develop ETL procedures and scripts for SLICE data sources. 

4. Research and recommend ETL tools and procedures to be used to support SLICE project.

5. Maintain the data design documents and data stores for SLICE. 

6. Coordinate with Developers to ensure SLICE data models are in sync with data models elsewhere in the agency.

 

Required Skills (rank in order of importance): 

·         Relational database and SQL Server experience

·         MS Analysis Services

·         MS Excel and SQL Query Manager

·         SQL Server 2005/2008 experience is a must 

·         Current experience using SQL Server Reporting Services

·         SQL Server Analysis Services

·         Knowledge of and experience with DB2 will be important

DB2 Intermediate 7-8 Within 2 Years

4 - 6 Years

MSQL Intermediate 7-8 Currently Using

6 + Years

Relational Database  Intermediate 7-8 Currently Using 6 + Years

SQL Server Intermediate 7-8 Currently Using

6 + Years

Database Administration

Intermediate 7-8 Currently Using 6 + Years

Data Modeling  Intermediate 7-8 Currently Using 6 + Years

Data Warehousing  Intermediate 7-8 Within 1 Year 4 - 6 Years
