JOB DESCRIPTION:-

 

Technical/Functional Skills	:	COGNOS TM1 developer with 8-10 years of experience.
Experience Required		-        COGNOS TM1 developer
Roles & Responsibilities	:	-          Extensive hands-on experience Cognos TM1 (Perspective, Architect, CAFÉ, Performance Modeler) and TM1 SDK is a must. Strong hands-on knowledge of TI processes that query and write into relational tables, customize workflow. • IBM Certified Developer – Cognos TM1, 10.2.2 a strong plus • Hands-on experience with the remaining suite of Cognos tools is a plus, including Cognos 10 BI – Workspace Advanced, Cognos Insight, Report Studio, Query Studio, Analysis Studio, Framework Manager, Transformer/Powerplay, Cognos Connection, Cognos Enterprise Planning • Takes direction well but must work independently, Team player, strong attention to detail, good interpersonal skills. • Extensive experience with MS Excel, spreadsheet presentation, and financial modelling. • Excellent communications, presentation skills with ability to interact at all levels of the organization on a regular basis. • Expertise in the design and development of large scale integrated Enterprise wide Data Warehouse, Cognos TM1, BI and planning solutions. • Understanding of Data Models, ETL processes a plus. • Ability to build strong alliance with different business and functional groups. • Architected multiple enterprise wide deployed financial BI Reporting and Dashboard solutions. • Strong understanding of various relational database platforms in design and development of ETL processes and relational databases (Oracle is a plus). • Expertise in architecting distributed multi-server Cognos environments including capacity planning, installation and configuration of TM1 10.2.2 software components.
Generic Managerial/Soft Skills	:	-          Need good communication and analytic skills .should be able to work/lead a small size team. Should know change management procedure.
