ROLE: Oracle Data Modeler

Location: Carlsbad, CA

Duration: 6-12 months

Required Skills:

• Fluent in both normalized and dimensional model disciplines and techniques

• Minimum of 5 years' experience designing data model solutions for various transactional and/or analytical databases

• Minimum of 5 years' experience in Oracle Database (10g or 11g).

• Minimum of 4 years' experience with MS SQL Database

• Strong data analysis skills

• Previous experience with data modeling tools, Erwin is preferred.

• Bachelor's degree in software engineering, computer science or information systems (or equivalent experience)

• Extensive experience with ETL Design and implementation using Informatica PowerCenter

• Effective oral and written communication skills

• Modeling/design experience in a regulated and validated IT Transactional systems.

• Ability to learn and maintain knowledge of multiple application areas

• Self-motivated, responsible, conscientious, and detail oriented

• Ability to follow and inform priorities and timelines

• Ability to work independently and in conjunction with a team

• Understanding of industry best practices pertaining to Quality Assurance concepts and procedures.

• Data modeling experience in Pharmaceutical, life science, and distribution is a plus
