Relevant Experience (in Yrs):    

•              7-8 years' experience as Tester/Lead role.

•              Ability to work with multiple teams, understand and interpret business requirements and turn them into technical requirements is highly desired.

•              Should have very strong analytical and problem solving skills

•              Strong Hands-on testing experience in multiple technologies is desired.

 

Job Description:

 

Technical/Functional Skills:       

•              Software Quality Tester will also be responsible for writing test plans, documenting bugs, and communicating with Development, Operations, and Product Management.

•              Thoroughly test software applications in a highly complex environment.

•              Software Quality Tester will be responsible for working with business and technical staff in planning, executing, and documenting testing.

•              Work with technical and business resources to understand requirements for each project affecting any component of application.

•              Learn individual components of system to facilitate the development and execution of comprehensive test plans.

•              Follow and enhance developed testing processes, procedures, or methodologies.

•              Document test cases to meet desired test coverage goals.

•              Assist with test automation effort.

•              Work to minimize risk by identifying, communicating and escalating issues appropriately to management.

•              ATS (IT)

•              Automated Testing

•              Black Box Testing

•              Performance Testing

•              QA Testing

•              User Acceptance Testing

•              White Box Testing

 

Experience Required:    8 – 10 Years

 

Roles & Responsibilities:              •              As Test Lead candidate is responsible for

1.             Understanding Business requirements and converting them to test cases and test scenarios

2.             Provide estimates for each requirement and perform Gap analysis.

3.             Guide team in WebSphere Message Broker technologies

4.             Own the project deliverables and drive team towards success.

5.             Implementation of standards, processes, and procedures related to application

 

Generic Managerial Skills:           

1.             Very Good Communication Skills is a Must

2.             Good Task Planning and Reporting Skills required

 

Education:          BS in computer science or Equivalent
