Job Description:
· looking for prior Barclays experience as mandatory.
· Prior Barclays experience as SQL DBA
· SQL 2008 including R2 and SQL 2012 administration skills
· SQL Server Setup, Installation, Version Upgrade & Architect Setup
· SQL Server Virtualization & Consolidation
· Design and Implement Database Backup Restore & Disaster Recovery Strategy
· Configuring Replication / Data Synchronization
· SQL Server Database Monitoring with DDL Triggers and SQL Server Profiler
· Query Performance Optimization, execution plan, setting up base line and Capacity Planning
· Creating, Managing & Optimizing Performance for Views, Procedure, Triggers, Table & Functions
· Creating Service Broker Object, Sending and Receiving Messages
· Optimizing distributed Transactions and Locks
· Memory Management for SQL Server Analysis Services
· Installing & Configuring SQL Server Services on clustered environment as per standards
· General understanding of ITIL (Incident/Change management)
