Job Description:
Relevant Experience (Yrs):
• 8+ years of experience in data warehousing using Informatica Power Center. (Includes Designer/Monitor/Workflow/Repository Manager)
• Function as a technical expert in the design, development, modification and debugging of data models, databases, etc.
• Ability to design and develop complex ETL processes and identify areas of optimizations.
• Experienced in testing, debugging and performance tuning of any ETL bottlenecks.
• Very large Database and DW implementation experience (20+ TBs).
• Experience on designing new solutions for the project
• Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts, schemas, Slowly Changing Dimensions, Facts and Dimensions
• Experience on migrating Data Stage code to Informatica is a plus
• Experience on Agile project execution model
• Proven ability to effectively manage time and a desire to deliver results quickly and correctly.
Desired Skills:
• Knowledge of Cognos and Reporting framework and understanding Data Stage code is a plus
• Work closely with the Functional clients to understand business requirements, providing expert solutions and ensuring business needs meeting defined SLAs
Roles & Responsibilities:
• Delivery reviews, ensuing defect free deliverables from team following SDLC/Agile process and client standards
• Operational reporting on Metrics and weekly status / progress
• Onsite and Offshore coordination on regular basis for deliverables
• ETL Performance optimization and stability measures to maintain data quality of Data warehousing system
Education: B.E, B.Tech, MCA or MS
