Position: SQL DBA with Prior Barclay's Experience

Location: NYC, NY (Local only Required – F2F)

Duration: 12+ Months Contract

 

Job Duties:

 

·         Prior Barclays experience as SQL DBA

·         SQL 2008 including R2 and SQL 2012 administration skills. SQL Server Setup, Installation, Version Upgrade & Architect Setup. SQL Server Virtualization & Consolidation

·         Design and Implement Database Backup Restore & Disaster Recovery Strategy, Configuring Replication / Data Synchronization. SQL Server Database Monitoring with DDL Triggers and SQL Server Profiler

·         Query Performance Optimization, execution plan, setting up base line and Capacity Planning. Creating, Managing & Optimizing Performance for Views, Procedure, Triggers, Table & Functions. Creating Service Broker Object, Sending and Receiving Messages

·         Optimizing distributed Transactions and Locks. Memory Management for SQL Server Analysis Services. Installing & Configuring SQL Server Services on clustered environment as per standards

·         General understanding of ITIL (Incident/Change management)
