Location: Pittsburgh, PA 

Duration: 12 Months

 

Role	SSIS Developer
Mandatory Technical / Functional Skills	4+ years using Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS). 1+ yr of experience in Retalics 2+ yr of strong Integration experience Thorough knowledge of SSIS components with a broad range of experience transforming data from CSV files, XML files, and common relational database sources and destinations. Serves as the subject matter expert on ETL development techniques. Hands-on development experience with Transact-SQL, including stored procedure development. Hands-on experience tuning SQL using SQL Profiler and execution plan analysis. Strong knowledge of relational database logical and physical design concepts and practices including 3rd normal form models, star schemas, multi-dimensional cubes, and Microsoft tabular data models.
Roles and responsibility	Experience with Microsoft Business Intelligence Toolset Successful candidates will be quality oriented and demonstrate great attention to detail. Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills and be able to interact with multiple IT teams and business partners both formally and informally Knowledge of physical database administration with SQL Server a plus Data warehouse / Data mart development experience 'Design and develop data movements using SQL Server Integration Services, TSQL and Stored Procedures Consult with the business to determine logical design for new business solutions Perform code reviews, analyze execution plans, and re-factor inefficient code Use customer requirements to improve functionality (speed, performance / usability). Conduct system tests, troubleshoot customer issues and correct database defects. Respond quickly to bug fixes and enhancement requests. Able to take directions and complete tasks on-time with minimal supervision. Participate in special projects as needed and performs other duties as assigned. Work in a team environment Work on multiple assignments concurrently under aggressive deadlines
Desirable Technical / Functional Skills	Work with different teams – Business, Solutions –technical and team of Architects to create overall user interface, Implement  solutions with complete considerations on Infrastructure capability, performance, supportability to achieve end user business results.
