Location: Topeka, KS

.NET Developer, contract

This is a contract position that will last at least through November 2016, with the possibility of extension.  80% development, maintenance and editing, 20% testing.  The team is responsible for maintaining 100+ applications as well as new development.  We are open to H1B candidates with EXCELLENT English skills.  A phone interview will be required prior to an onsite technical interview.  If you meet the requirements and are available for long-term contract in Topeka with a great organization, please send your resume today. 

Responsibilities:

·         Act as a consultant to staff and leadership in determining requirements and timelines

·         Develop requirements & designs, and translate these into computer and web applications

·         Monitor system resources to ensure continued performance enhancements

·         Support project management and tracking

·         Work in application and website design & maintenance

·         Work with application testers to address issues found

·         Work with network administrators to implement applications and database enhancements into the production environment

·         Work with stakeholders and requirements analysts to understand business needs

Requirements: 

·         3+ years' .NET development

·         Must have C#, .NET, TFS,  nUnit (or other test framework), SQL Server, REST, WCF, Web API, ASP.NET MVC, Design Principles

·         Must have strong analytical, problem-identification and process analysis skills with the ability to envision a solution from requirements

·         Strong communication skills, both verbal and written

Nice to Have:

TeamCity, PowerShell, MS Build
