Title:  Lead Java Developer

Location: Bloomington, IL

Duration: 12 months contract

 

Job  Description

 

As an Application Architecture Analyst, this resource would be responsible for:

 

·         Completing application architecture deliverables

·         Documenting Conceptual and High Level Design and following Enterprise standards and guidance for application architecture deliverables

·         Working with business architects and business partners to understand requirements and design solutions to meet business needs

·         Ensuring designs satisfy non-functional requirements such as performance, availability, and security

·         Assisting with creation of technical architecture deliverables

·         Ensuring design aligns with the Enterprise Technical Direction

·         Creating Architecture Decision Documents as needed

·         Ensuring enterprise data strategy is applied

·         Ensuring governance and standards are applied

·         Assessing work requests and corresponding solution definition work prior to project activation

·         Applies innovation, passion, flexibility, adaptability and initiative in daily activities to contribute to a Systems culture that clearly reflects these ideals

 

Desired Skills include:

 

·         Experienced Systems Analyst with logical design and/or application architecture skills

·         Ability to think strategically and assist team members in developing accurate solutions

·         Ability to design solutions using Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) concepts utilizing J2EE web services, COBOL data accesses for DB2 databases, and Postgres databases

·         Ability to speak to technical teams to ensure understanding of business needs

·         Ability to speak to the business and translate the technical to the business

·         Understanding likely impacts of Technical Architecture sectors (Security, Application Development, Service Management, Data) while building application architecture strategy

·         Communicates with various audiences, such as business partners and technical leadership, to acquire acceptance and to articulate decisions for application architecture

·         Ability to navigate the organization _Ability to build relationships across various levels of the organization

·         Ability to quickly adapt to a changing work environment

·         Ability to coach and mentor others

·         Ability to foster innovation, encourage diversity of thought and incorporate new ideas into practice

·         Ability to lead topic discussions with diverse participants, areas, and disciplines

·         Ability to work on a team (be accountable and a team player) and to influence

·         Strong communication skills - verbal and written.

 

Title:  Java/BIRT developers

Location: Bloomington, IL

Duration: 4 months contract

 

Job  Description

 

Java/BIRT developers We need the following skills: · Java knowledge · Eclipse knowledge · BIRT report designer knowledge · SQL knowledge · DB2 knowledge
