Business Objects role

Jacksonville, FL

Description 

Prepares, analyzes, and selects methods of presenting data. Summarizes data analysis in written reports

From information gathered, suggests future development and enhancement options. Coordinates and monitors special projects.

·         Assumes managerial responsibilities.

·         Requires broad knowledge of technology in area to which assigned. 

·         Creates Business Objects BOXI universes and reports.

·         Performs Extraction, Transformation and Loading (ETL) of data from the source systems into data warehouse using Informatica, Oracle PL SQL and TOAD.

·         Schedules ETL jobs using Unix shell scripting.

·         Has a deep knowledge of systems development and business processes.

·         Transforms complex system requirements into comprehendible detailed design documents and system test plans and other documentation as required

·         Provides operational support to IT Systems during and outside of defined working hours
Develops and performs tests for unit, integration, and verification testing based on design specifications. Prepares and maintains formal documentation.

·         Participates in technical reviews. Follows company design policies and procedures. 

Experience:

3-5 years' experience 
Education: Undergrad required.
