Role: Statistical Analytics

Location : New York City, NY

Contract

Pay rate: $negotiable

 

JOB SUMMARY

Knowledge of various statistical models

Proficient in R language, usage of RStudio or any other tools

Hands on Oracle SQL

Data analysis in R on a dataset from Oracle database, usage of APIs from R

Knowledge of bigdata is a plus

 

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

Masters degree in a quantitative discipline required (e.g. statistics, mathematics, economics), or equivalent work experience
Strong quantitative skills with a proven ability to translate analysis into meaningful insights, and help drive execution strategy.
Proficient in R, Oracle PL/SQL, and MS Office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
Ability to create, compose and edit written materials and presentations.
4 years' experience in analytics, forecasting, and modeling in a financial services firm.
