Job Title: CRM Tester Release Manager

Location: Waltham, MA

Duration: 1 Year

 

The CRM Tester/Release Manager is responsible for working with functional and technical team members to write detailed User Acceptance Testing (UAT) scripts for systems including the Veeva Customer Relationship Management system. This team member is also responsible for coordinating the execution of those scripts, and for supporting the Change Management process with regard to releases, ensuring that all components are properly vetted and documented according to established procedures. Excellent writing skills are required, as is attention to detail, and a good understanding of CRM business processes to write scripts that accurately test intended functions. This role is expected to participate in the maintenance of written documentation around Change Management and Testing.

 

Experience & Knowledge:

•             An undergraduate degree from an accredited university

•             Exposure to the Pharmaceutical industry

•             Experience with the Veeva CRM system (Veeva certification a plus)

•             Expertise writing detailed UAT scripts for software applications

•             Experience managing software releases and schedules in a regulated, enterprise environment

•             Excellent written communication skills, including experience writing documentation

 

This role functions as the Project Manager for Releases.

 

Project manager in that they are making sure everything is flowing properly.  Making sure everything gets done correctly.

 

Because CRM is a living system and it is getting updated every other month, and because Shire has a very strict change control policy, everything that goes out needs detailed test scripts.

It is the testers responsibility to look @ the functional/technical requirements and write out the actual test scripts to make sure that everything functions as it should.

Candidate will write the scripts and coordinate with people on the team/business side to identify appropriate resources to execute the scripts.

Will act as a liaison between the testers/developers/implementers to make sure all data is correct Will also insure communication between different team members before, during, and after implementation processes.

 

Candidate Must Have:

·         Previous Software Testing Experience (test lead, UAT script writer, QA Lead, QA Consultant) Need to be able to write great test scripts Organizational Skills-Attention to Detail Communication Skills Previous Customer Facing Experience

·         3-5 years' experience

·         Pharma Preferred, but not absolutely necessary.

·         Need to come from some sort of regulated industry.

·         Bachelors Required
