PeopleSoft HR Functional Analyst
Work Location: East Coast, Hanover - Baltimore Area - MD
Job Summary:
PeopleSoft HR analyst will be responsible for providing functional support of an enterprise wide PeopleSoft HR 9.2 application. The analyst will be required to
acknowledge and respond to application incident tickets as they arise in an Application Maintenance setting. The anylist must manage outstanding task lists and
ensure issues are resolved properly and expeditiously. The PeopleSoft Functional analyst will act as the interface between the client and the offshore support t
eam. Required to facilitate communication between customer and client SME's and technical staff. Must have recent experience documenting HR business requirement
s and process design, an understanding of system configuration and proven ability to create detailed functional design documentation.
A solid understanding of the follow HR modules and technologies: Base HR, NA Payroll and Time & Labor, PeopleTools, Application Designer, Application Engine, In
tegration Broker, SQR, SQL, PS Query.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Monitor ticket queues and resolve incident tickets based on ticket priorities.
Liaison between functional users of the enterprise PeopleSoft Financials and PeopleSoft HRMS systems and technical support staff to ensure the system is meeting the business needs of the organization.
Facilitate requirements gathering and documentation efforts
Gather requirements, design and test solutions to production fixes and enhancements per client specifications.
Document functional use test cases and scripts
Identify, document and escalate risks and issues
Understand the impact changes to the HR system configuration will have on integrated ERP systems and existing internal and external interfaces
Develops, coordinates and implements plans to test business and functional processes during system development and quality assurance testing
Adhere to expectations and timeline for deliverables
Work in conjunction with the PeopleSoft Technical subject matter experts to support functional users of the system.
Prioritize and assign tasks for offshore functional and technical analysts.
Prepare and issue requested project status reports covering all assigned pending and current project activities
Ensure compliance with the management process and procedures to ensure changes to production environment are implemented in controlled manner with applicable testing and approvals.
Maintain applicable test environments to support change management process.
Troubleshoot functional problems and coordinate support with Oracle PeopleSoft Support when needed.
