Position: Software Engineer/Lamp Developer
Location: Denver, CO
Duration: 6 months Contract to hire

Summary: As part of the Commercial Insertion Development team, this position will be responsible for developing tools and features for the Addressable platform. Must be detail oriented and willing to work shifts. Client is a 24/7/365 operation and this job may require working non-business hours for an extended basis.
Preferred Qualifications
- BS in a related field; and 4 to 6 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 3+ years' experience developing Software, in Windows & Unix environments or exp is LAMP Development is praferred
- Experience with Commercial Insertion technologies and Business Operations
- Experience with customer facing support/operations support environments.
- Experience developing/supporting monitoring and alerting tools
- Experience with Video Compression, MPEG and Satellite Broadcasting.
- Experience developing solutions for Microsoft SQL, Microsoft Windows Server, Red Hat Linux, SOAP, Linux Scripting, Perl/Python, SQL, Zenoss
Responsibilities
- Work with Internal and External groups to identify issues, and develop solutions for the Addressable platform.
- Develop Solutions for both Business features, and also Operational needs (Alerts/Monitoring)
- Provide estimates, manage timelines/releases and deliver solutions as identified.
- Develop Technical & Operational understanding of the platform
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Meet deadlines and complete assignments in a timely manner while maintaining quality standards.
- This Position will have 0-25% travel from Denver to our Uplink Centers (Cheyenne, WY & Gilbert, AZ) as assigned.
