Position: Informatica Developer

Location: Orlando, FL

Duration: 6+ Month Contract

Rate: $50/hr C2C

Required:

•             3 + years of Data Warehouse Development or related technical experience.

•             1 + years of experience with Informatica Power Center (v8 or higher) creating mappings/processes;

•             1 + year Oracle database development, preferably in a large enterprise database environment

•             1 + year hands-on with a UNIX-based OS; experience writing basic shell scripts.

•             Must be customer-focused and enjoy team environments.

•             Time management, prioritization, and multi-tasking skills are critical for this job.

•             Good oral and written communication skills, data gathering skills, troubleshooting skills, the ability to communicate effectively with non-technical audience, and experience providing on-call support in a mission-critical environment.

•             Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) is preferred.

•             Should be well versed in the use of SQL, PL/SQL, Entity-Relationship and Data Warehouse Dimensional Data Modeling tools (preferably Embarcadero or TOAD), RDBMS (preferably Oracle 11G development and DBA experience, MS SQL Server, MS Access), Linux, BI Tools (preferably OBIEE, Hyperion BI, and Cognos) and Scripting Languages.

•             Time management, prioritization, and multi-tasking skills are critical for this job.

•             Experience with Financial systems/ERPs and Finance-specific functional knowledge is a definite plus.

 

Duties:

•             Perform Informatica mapping development & maintenance, job monitoring, data warehouse enhancements, incident root cause analysis and

resolution, optimization, production support, and customer service. Support ongoing production as well as legacy migration

•             Work with customers to identify, understand, and develop solutions for the business. Supporting the development, optimization, and maintenance of Informatica mappings with various source data including Oracle, SQL01, SAP R3, and IDMS.

•             Develop Oracle views, SQL & UNIX scripts, Informatica ETL, PL/SQL, and Tidal job scheduling scripts required to manage the loading of data from various transactional systems in to the data warehouse.

•             Support creation of views and dimensions for user access to the data via Hyperion and Cognos.

•             Perform software analysis, peer review and tests software specific to area of business.

•             Work in a team environment to accomplish tasks.

•             Document and recommend design changes and/or enhancements to systems.

•             Support periodic on-call rotation to resolve after hours production issues and support migration of new systems into production.
