Position- SQL Data Analyst

Location: Bowie MD

Duration: Long Term Contract

Responsibilities:

•             Perform complex custom analytics as needed by clients and executive management;

•             Develop solutions to complex software design issues during the product development cycle, keeping in mind scope limitations and the impact of other integrated products;

•             Design and/or develop specific databases for collection, tracking, and reporting of data;

•             Design, code, test and debug custom queries using Microsoft T-SQL and SQL Reporting Services;

•             Design, code, test and debug business logic for software applications using T-SQL per defined technical specifications;

•             Develop quality code that meets project & departmental standards;

•             Diagnose and address operational data requests; and

•             Interact with clients as needed as both a technical and functional expert.

•             knowledge or working experience using SSRS And SSIS

 

Qualifications:

•             Bachelor's degree in a technical or business related field or equivalent experience required; MS in computer or IT related fields or MBA preferred;

•             4 years of experience in data analysis preferred;

•             Strong understanding in researching data issues;

•             Proven ability to communicate and present at the executive level, to prospects, clients and their representatives;

•             Business analytical skills (process flows, procedures, spreadsheets, modeling, etc.);

•             Must possess a high sense of accountability;

•             Strong knowledge of MS Project, Excel, Visio, Word, PowerPoint and SharePoint; and

•             Knowledge and experience in T-SQL, SQL Server 2008 and various reporting platforms.
