Position: Oracle Database Administrator
Location: Washington DC
Duration: 12+ Months

 

 

Job Description :  
Consultant should have at least 5 years of Oracle experience (Oracle and/or SAP platform certification is preferable) as DBA with knowledge and experience of managing multiple Oracle instances and landscapes and poses proven knowledge and experience in the following areas:
Oracle DB installation/reinstallation/cloning
Oracle database backup and recovery under using RMAN
Oracle performance tuning and troubleshooting
Oracle performance monitoring  & troubleshooting
Oracle heterogeneous platform data migration
Tasks to be performed
Support day-to-day operations of Oracle databases and resolve incidents
Resolve backup incidents
Preform data recovery after user error using flashback
Perform database cloning with RMAN
Perform Oracle database patching & upgrades
Reorganize tables and indexes
Identify areas of improvement and optimization
Update and create SOPs
Perform heterogenous database migrations
