Need candidates for a lead Data Architect / Data Solution initiative with a strategic client in the Corporate and Investment Banking Industry in Jersey City, NJ. The scope of the project involves Oracle development services for investment banking regulatory projects.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop overall strategic data architecture direction and provides a comprehensive road map for the business data needs
• Provide technical leadership for data management and data architecture, design and development
• Perform data mappings and design of system ETL workflow solutions
• Work with functional staff to establish and clarify requirements
• Prepares comprehensive documentation, and ensures timely completion of assigned work
Required Skills:
• 8+ years' experience in Oracle, data warehouse and related technologies
• 5+ years' of experience in Relational database concepts, relational logical modeling, best practices, physical design, data optimization and performance tuning
• 3+ years' of robust Knowledge and implementation experience of Informatica is preferred
• Expert knowledge around designing and leading data integration
• Experience in the use of data modelling methods and tools such as Oracle Designer
• Extensive knowledge of metadata structures, repository functions and data dictionaries
• Should have Capital markets background
• Knowledge of Oracle Pl/SQL is required
• Strong communication skills
• Strong data analytic and design skills
• Should have worked in complex Oracle platforms involving optimization
• Ability to work in agile kind of environment
• Strong client facing skills
• Ability to handle teams working in multiple sites (onsite, offshore, near shore)
• Understanding of various capital market regulations and prior experience with reg reporting projects is a value add
ESSENTIAL SKILLS REQUIRED

• Experience in ETL (Informatica), Oracle and related technologies
• Good understanding of data
• Good analytical and software engineering skills

Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or a related degree
