Job Description:
Technical/Functional Skills:
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, comfortable with interacting with people from all levels and various parts of the business.

Roles & Responsibilities:
• Gather business requirements, interacting with cross-functional departments to translate concepts to create a fully defined requirements process.
• Preparation of standardized documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
• Oversees end-to-end requirements, design, build and development of all applicable workflows and capabilities from conception to implementation.
• Analyzes and documents business requirements and ensures systems requirements and project plans are in alignment with business needs.
• Defines business process scope and objectives as well as detailed business requirements and works with IT partners to translate into systems requirements.
• Works through complexities associated with the coordination across multiple areas with conflicting efforts and limited resources.
• Identify persistent problems, working with wider teams and create documentation.
• Communicate business priorities and requirements to the technology organization for design and implementation, in order to drive effective business solutions.
• Works with test team to ensure the testing results correspond to the business expectations.
• Maintains effective communication with management and project teams.
• Accountable for understanding and communicating accurate business requirements to IT partners and ensuring technical specifications accurately reflects business needs.
• Leading and Mentoring both Onsite and Offshore teams
• Creating Project Plan and Track status
• Handling Customer communications and Management reporting
• Experience in Health Care (preferable)

Duration: 6 Months with possible extension
Location: Stamford, CT
Job Description:
Technical/Functional Skills:
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in delivery of IT projects
• Strong data background and sound technical knowledge involved in delivering information projects
• Experience with implementation of data warehouse and enterprise reporting systems. Good knowledge of principles of data modeling and ETL processing and the tools involved
• Very strong communication, negotiation, analytical and hands on problem solving skills
• Should be detail oriented and work in a collaborative manner with other team members of the project and stake holders.
• Follow a well-structured mode of operation, including detailed project planning with the appropriate level of detail
• Proven track record in delivering projects on-time, on-budget and in-scope
• Experience in managing projects in a global, matrix environment with internal (IT and Business) and external (3rd Party Service Provider, on- and off- shore) teams, located in different continents and time zones
• Experienced in software development life cycle methodologies and current information and data management industry best practices.
• Provide a holistic, simple view into project performance to stakeholders
• Agile knowledge and experience preferred.
Roles & Responsibilities:
1. Champion projects and manage the initiatives successfully through all phases within the given constraints time, budget, scope and quality
2. Establish and continuously facilitate appropriate communication amongst the stakeholders and teams, ensure clarity on goals, priorities and concrete responsibilities for all team members
3. Define project goals, success criteria and expectations with stakeholders
4. Create and manage a realistic and credible project plan with buy-in from all resources involved and the business sponsor; this includes definition/tailoring of an appropriate project lifecycle
5. Negotiate project deliverables, milestones and target dates
6. Manage the approved funding with the business sponsors and IT finance
7. Responsible for appropriate team staffing and collaboration in a matrix organization with globally distributed teams
8. Establish consistent project risk management and change control
9. Responsible for the project to comply with IT and data architectural standards, performance standards, and business continuity and disaster recovery requirements
10. Work closely with the support teams to manage the transition and warranty period
11. Monitor and control the project during execution, including regular performance reports
12. Actively support initiatives on improvement of delivery processes within the IT organization.

• 7+ years of IT extensive experience as Architect /Tech Lead / Developer involving analysis, design and implementation of project requirements.
• Experience of integrating applications across variety of technology stack, vendor products, Java/J2EE applications, mainframe applications, etc
• Comprehensive knowledge of Web / Client Server Development using n-tier Architecture.
• Extensive experience in OOAD Techniques developing Class Diagrams, Sequence diagrams, Use Case Diagrams and Activity Diagrams.
• Extensive experience on Java, J2EE, Spring, Struts, Swings ,ESB, Web Services, Ajax, EAI , Web2.0 , Integration and J2EE Design patterns .
• Experience on Hibernate (Object relational Mapping Tool).
• Experience of integrating applications across variety of technology stack, vendor products, Java/J2EE applications, mainframe applications, etc
• Experienced in SOA and Web services using WSDL, SOAP and UDDI, MQ Series, ActiveMQ.
• Experience in Websphere Message Broker
• Experience in J2EE related technologies such as EJB, Servlets, JSP, JMS, JAAS, JTA JAXP, XML and XSLT.
• Experience in Application Servers Web Sphere, JBoss and Web Servers like Tomcat, Sun Java Web server, etc.
• Good understanding in Software Configuration Management using Version Control Software such as PVCS, Rational Clear Case, and responsible for various software version releases.
• Extensive experience on Rapid Application Development using IDE such as, STS (Spring Tool Suite), Eclipse, Borland JBuilder.
• Should have full system life cycle hands-on experience: analysis design, coding, testing, performance tuning, installing, documenting, maintaining, and end-user training.
• Knowledge of Insurance domain will be a added benefit
• Should be an excellent Team player, self-starter, multi tasked, detail oriented.
