Senior Oracle EBS Applications DBA for R12

Location: Memphis,TN

Duration: 12 plus months

 

JOB DESCRIPTION

The selected candidate after the initial configuration of the middle tier Application environments will be

responsible for on-going operations, and maintenance of the new EBSR12 environment. Tasking will

include Application Server administration essential to the customers and owners of multiple Oracle EBS

application modules.

• Application fundamentals such as concepts and architecture

• Application DBA for implementation and support of E-Business Suite R12 on 64bit RedHat Linux

• lOgASIO.l administration and configuration experience

• Analysis and application of Application security and application patches

• Cloning Oracle Application Systems

• Maintaining and managing Concurrent Managers

• Forms/Report Servers installation and support

• Discoverer, workflow, mail server installation and support

• Managing Web Servers and Application server components

• All the EBS administrative utilities. Customizations and code deployment

• Database restrictions for the applications so that the installation is still supportable and conforms to

all Oracle requirements.

• Application related regular and maintenance functions such as month end and period end functions.

• Application environment backup and recovery constraints

• Monitoring, Tuning and load balancing of the application servers

• Printers Configuration and User Access Administration

Knowledge of Hyperion Servers administrative functions also required

Must also be able to learn and perform backup core DBA functions

 

Qualifications:

• At least seven (5) years of progressive experience is required in information technology system

analysis, programming, or specialty in the areas of Oracle E-Business Suite R12 and llg Database

Versions

• A bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, or other related

discipline is required.
