The Data Architect must have extensive experience data modeling techniques for data warehousing (e.g., star schemes, data mining) and understanding of the 

implementation of a data warehouse on the supporting infrastructure
• Expert in Data warehousing, metadata management
• Experience in analyzing data across multiple sources to design and document logical and physical data models, and maintain the Enterprise Data Warehouse Data 
Model.
• Design and Develop stored procedures and creates tables and views.
• Define conceptual, logical and physical data models and prepare normalized models and dimensional models.
• Assist in troubleshooting database issues and quickly resolves problems as they arise.
• Tune and optimize query performance , optimize application performance
• Demonstrates expertise in a variety of database, ETL, and application concepts, practices, and procedures.
• Develop and maintain documentation of the overall data architecture, data flows and data models.
Qualifications: 
• 3+ years of experience in Oracle 11i administration and development.
• Must have understanding of Business Intelligence concepts
• Must be detail oriented with excellent organizational skills.
• Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be able to document tasks and procedures related to work.
• Must be able to interact well with users and understand business needs.
• Must be able to work independently and in a team environment.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, engineering or equivalent experience.
