Role - Sharepoint Architect

Location - Bentonville AR

Duration - 6+ months

• 10-12 Years of IT experience. 3-5 Years of SharePoint experience.

• Must have hands-on experience and capabilities for developing and deploying customized SharePoint solutions. And should have the ability to develop governance and change management plans to support SharePoint deployments.

• Expert knowledge of software development processes and best practices utilizing SharePoint and the Microsoft technology stack.

• Must possess a deep technical and architectural understanding of all aspects of Microsoft SharePoint platform solutions for both 2010 and Office 365.

• Advanced knowledge of Collaboration, Portals, Enterprise Search, Social Networking, Enterprise Content Management and/or Business Process and Forms.

• Experience in designing, developing and testing client applications as part of software development cycle using an Agile development approach.

• Experience with service oriented design.

• .NET Framework / C# / Experience with the SharePoint object model.

• Strong understanding of Object Oriented design and implementation using the .NET Framework, C#, WCF, and JavaScript.

• Understanding of Information Architecture, taxonomy, Manage metadata and knowledge management disciplines

• Experience in Fast Search, Search optimization.

• Expert knowledge in Content type hub, Content Organizer.

• Expert knowledge of software engineering concepts (requirements management, development methodologies, testing and documentation) full lifecycle projects from solution definition through development, implementation and rollout.

• Proven expertise in devising SharePoint solutions that are part of a larger enterprise-wide integrated architecture.

• Self-starter that can operate independently as needed.

• Must work well in a results-oriented environment without losing focus on long term growth.

• Creative thinker with ability to solve challenging problems in a collaborative setting.

• Strong project management skills with proven ability to multi-task and meet deliverable deadlines while maintaining professional demeanor under pressure.

• Track record of accurately estimating solutions and effectively communicating the risks and challenges of a potential SharePoint initiative.

• Ability to know when SharePoint is not the right solution for a problem and can communicate alternatives effectively.

• Comfortable within a fast-moving growth environment.

• Experience working with and presenting to C-level executives demonstrated by excellent written and verbal communications, with technical and non-technical personnel.
