Sr. Java developer with insurance domain exp—Min 8yrs exp and above

Duration:---6-12months+  -Immediate Interview--

Location: NJ

Rate: $70 /hr on c2c or 1099

 

Additional JD

Key activities
1. To decompose technical tasks and provide accurate estimates.
2. To undertake development tasks with minimal or no supervision.
3. To monitor progress and provide updates to the Project Manager on a regular frequency.
4. To maintain consistent quality standards on deliverables.

Technical Skills
1. Proficient in Core Java/J2EE.
2. Expertise in SOAP Web Services.
3. Proven experience in SQL database (DML, DDL, Queries, Stored Procedures) 4. Expertise in Application servers (Tomcat, Websphere, weblogic).
5. Prior experience in Sanctions Screening is an advantage.
6. Familiarity in any ETL tool, preferably Talend and Datastage.
7. Experience in Eclipse, SOAP UI.
8. Expertise in UNIX / Linux is an advantage.
9. Web Front end experience (HTML, XML, Javascript).
10. Experience in any of the version control tools (PVCS / CVS / VSS) 11. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
12. Review and understand business requirements consistent with business objectives and ability to convert them to design.
13. Expertise in debugging skills.
14. Insurance domain experience is an added advantage.
