Job Title : Sr. SSAS/SSIS SQL Developer
Location : NYC, NY
Duration : 18+ Months Contract

Client will be discussed with candidate
Approximately
80% SSAS/SSIS/SQL
20 % .Net development (internal web applications ) and possibly some L3 support for them.
Role Overview:
The incumbent will report into the Cubes team, which is responsible for delivering and supporting functionality to both Market and Credit Risk areas and additionally is expected to provide support/development time to Credit Risk Web/Reporting application as instructed. In both cases, you will work very closely with local and global Risk managers/analysts as well as other front and middle office staff.
The ideal candidate will have experience in the following disciplines:
- Minimum 5 years industry experience
- Highly self motivated and able to work autonomously or collaboratively
- Excellent communication skills and be comfortable interacting with business users
- Good requirement gathering skills
- Good understanding of software development lifecycle
- Good understanding of best practices for the design, implementation and testing of deliverables
- Solid investment banking industry knowledge (Desirable)
- Market/Credit risk experience in investment banking (Desirable)
Technologies required:
- MS SQL Server 2008 R2 or later
- MS SSIS/SSAS 2008 or later
- C#, ASP.NET
- Ajax/Javascript/jQuery
- Business Objects (Desirable)
- Autosys (Desirable)
