Position: SQL Server DBA

Location: Irving, TX

Duration: 6-12 Months

 

Job Description:

Skills Required

·         Experience Required 8+ years

·         24x7x365 Ticket Monitoring

·         24x7x365 RFC deployment as scheduled by users

·         Managing user security and access permission

·         Addressing all alerts

·         Daily System Health Checks (Space, CPU, Memory, Table Statistics, Indexes, Logs)  and sending out daily reports

·         Daily Backup checks

·         Replication Health checks and sending out health reports

·         Proactive month end system health check

·         Month end monitoring and addressing any processing delays

·         Communicating with our customers when month end processing is completed

·         Initiating and participating in P1/P2 calls as needed

·         On-Call rotation for Onsite resources

·         Onsite resources will review RFCs as part of their On-Call duties

·         Creating Internal DBA RFCs for production change
