Linux Engineer
The requirement is for a Linux engineer with 9 plus years of experience. Should be hands on with low level device drivers and BSP; knowledge of latest Broadcom chipsets would set him apart.
Job Description:
Bring-up Linux and device drivers on next generation multi-core ARM based SOCs
He will work as part of a team to design, integrate, debug, and document firmware and drivers for Systems on a Chip (SoC) used in a variety of applications in network switching.
Expertise in one or more of the following: - ARM Embedded Linux, Dual/Quad CortexA series, Linux BSP, Networking stack optimization & acceleration.
Job Requirement:
Hands on experience in:
- ARM Cortex-A series Linux BSP/U-Boot bring-up on ARM based SOC
- Low level device drivers for low and high speed devices
- Optimization of Linux based systems for performance
- Realview ICE/GDB
- Work in UNIX development environments
- Debug with HW/SW teams with tools such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers and SOC emulation environments
- Building RYO Linux from open source, i.e. building compilers, tool chains, boot loaders, Linux, file systems
Knowledge in the following is a plus: ARM Cortex-A architectures, ARM Assembly, AMP/SMP/UM Linux, VM, USB, SATA, PCIe, QSPI, eMMC, IPSEC, PPPoE/NAPT
Must Be:
Embedded System/Software Developer
Experienced in various embedded Linux system (embedded Linux, uClinux) and VxWorks.
Experience with board level debugging tools and environment(JTAG, ICE, Oscilloscope)
Working experience with Linux BSP, Boot loader and device driver for various systems.
Should have Specialties in Embedded Linux, Bootloader, Linux device drver, filesystem, ARINC protocol, VxWorks
