Detailed Skills:
• Should have the ability to perform the following activities in Oracle RAC 10g and 11g, Solaris 9i, 10g, and AIX 10g, 11g across all DBMS prod and non-prod environments:
o Provides technical guidance, recommendations, and feedback across the global technical team.
o Provides engineering inputs during the Oracle project life-cycle.
o Accountable for technical quality.
o Identifies and escalates issues and risks that impact the project delivery.
• Perform the following responsibilities:
o Attend Architectural Review Board (ARB),
o Create Engineering Design Artifacts, Data Models and provide Technical Impact Analysis,
o Partner with Infrastructure to lead platform creation,
o Lead technical decisions, as opposed to project mgmt.,
o Lead Defect Management,
o Partner with Non-Production Environment (NPE) for environment availability,
o Validate Non-Functional requirements,
o Plan technical implementation, execution and verification,
o Troubleshoot through warranty period,
o Transition project to support through collaboration with support systems.
• This role would require to lead other technical resources throughout the project execution phase.
