We are looking for a Big Data/Hadoop Consultant to support world's leader in providing IT consulting and software services to the finest global organizations client. This is a 3-6 Months Contract based in Sunnyvale, CA

 

Role: Big Data/Hadoop Consultant

Location: Sunnyvale, CA

Duration: 3-6 Months Contract

Extension: May Be

 

Job Description:

·         Hadoop Architect on Big Data Technologies – Map Reduce, HDFS, Hive

·         Hands-on experience with the Hadoop stack (e.g. MapReduce, Pig, Hive, Hbase, Flume) with expertise in Hive and oozie.

·         Hands-on experience with related/complementary open source software platforms and languages (e.g. Java, Linux, Apache, Perl/Python/PHP)

·         Hands-on experience with Data warehouse, BI, and ETL (Extract-Transform-Load) tools(e.g Informatica, Actuate, Pentaho)

·         Experience with any analytical tool, languages, or libraries (e.g. SAS, SPSS, R, Rapid Miner) is a PLUS

·         Experience in autosys or similar job scheduling tools

·         Knowledge of NoSQL platforms (e.g. key-value stores, graph databases, RDF triple stores

·         Detailed knowledge of RDBMS data modeling and SQL

·         Ability to design solutions independently based on high level architecture

·         Ability to implement Hadoop based solutions

·         Cloudera certification preferred
