Title: PL/SQL Developer
Location: Maryland Heights, MO
Duration: 6+month contract -- Rate $50 per Hour
Must-haves
Has spent at least the last 7 years focused in PL/SQL Database development in support of a database/data warehouse
Experience with design and development of PL/SQL Stored Procedures, Packages, Functions, Triggers, Views, Indexes, Cursors.
Experience with PL/SQL Tuning and analysis of how jobs are running and how to increase performance
Knowledge of how to use Unix/Bash Shell scripting
Knowledge of how to use SQL Developer
Experience working with Oracle 11g
Experience with documentation in a support environment as well as development with technical documentation, detailed design documentation, and experience in mapping business requirements to technical.
Experience with Data Mapping - basically mapping source system fields into our client̢۪s data model
Willing to learn and build data replication tasks using the Attunity Replicate tool
Previous experience with ETL Development (our clients Informatica & PL/SQL)
Previous experience with a scheduling tool (our client uses Automic/Appworx/UC4) candidate needs to be willing to learn this tool
Must be willing to work 1 week of on call every 4-5 weeks
Plusses
Experience working with System Integrators (consulting firms) and overseeing their work, reviewing & approving detailed designs, code reviews, UAT, and then taking it over in a support role
Leadership attributes are a plus. Would be nice to have someone who can fill a role of a team lead, but not required
