.Net/Oracle PL/SQL Developer

Duration: 12 months

Location: Columbus, OH

 

We are seeking an experienced developer( 5+ years experience ) to join our project team for an assignment expected to extend through the end of this year. The assignment consists of working as a member of our PowerGads 3.0 project team, and working with the Commercial Operations and Generation business units on a high profile project . The scope is focused on integrating a vendor software package with in-house applications, development of a new application for determining fuel cost allocation among power plants to support regulatory reporting, and a data warehouse component. This specific assignment is expected to be very heavy in PL/SQL also with development of components in the development technologies listed below. 

The candidate should possess excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work in a highly collaborative team environment. The work is expected to be executed using Agile methodologies. The candidate will work primarily with the team Architect, a lead developer, and end users, to help refine requirements, and design and build interfaces for the vendor product, and development of user interfaces for a new application. The team size is expected to be approximately 8-9 at maximum, including a project manager. 

Required Skillsets: 
Oracle PL/SQL - advanced skills in developing stored procedures. 
C# in . Net 3.5 or 4.5 framework 
Java Script 
Web Service (WCF and SOAP) development 
WSDL, XML, XSD and/or XSLT design, any other Data Transformations 
ASP.Net 
SVN (Subversion Source Control) Knowledge 
Visual Studio 2013 Experience 
Testing/test case development 

Optional Skillsets: 
Agile development methodology 
Quality Center
