Job Description:
• Understanding of Teradata Database ( V12 or higher )
• Working knowledge of Teradata Parallel Transporter (TPT) LOAD, UPDATE and STREAM operator
• Working knowledge of Teradata Macro and Procedures
• Working knowledge of Teradata Table creation and Index selection criteria
• Working knowledge of Basic Teradata Query (BTEQ) language
• Comfortable with UNIX scripting, jobs scheduled to run in UNIX and how to navigate logs in UNIX
• Working knowledge of Teradata SQL Assistant or Teradata Studio
• Working knowledge of Advanced Teradata SQL
• Working knowledge Teradata Database Concept of transforming Logical to Physical Model
• To be able to work with Business Users to develop Extended Model and Semantic Layer
• Working knowledge of getting involved during project initiation, scoping and estimation
• Comfortable to engage in Design Phase of the project to Transform Business Requirement documents to Technical Requirement documents
• To be able to create or validate Data Models
• To be able to mentor Teradata Developers
• Working knowledge of Teradata ViewPoint, DBQL to identify and resolve Teradata Performance issues
