We have an immediate need for a senior Database Administrator in McLean, VA. Here's the requirements for the particular position.
· 7-10 years of database administration/engineering with DB2 UDB EE , EEE on Linux, Aix Experience should include designing database solutions for business intiatives, installing dbms & replication server software, upgrading dbms & rep server software, troubleshooting, performance tuning, capacity planning, script writing ,and supporting development team.
· SQL Replication experience
· subscriptions, and supporting warm standby servers.
· Experience with HADR
· Good written and verbal communication skills.
· College Degree or equivalent experience.
