Title: VMWare Consultant with Linux

Duration: Long Term Contract

 

Job Description:  

·         Responsible for VMWare Infrastructure and day to day operations

·         Should have experience working in Linux environment, apart from this any HP hardware or blade servers are added advantage

·         Participate in design reviews and delivery of highly available and scalable Virtual infrastructure and servers

·         Manage and review the design of  vSphere infrastructure, Virtual Desktop Infrastructure, vCloud Director

·         KNOWLEDGE ON VCENTER ,VCOPS ,VSRM, VCM, VCAC AND STORAGE KNOWLEDGE (3PAR, EVA)

·         Inform management on a timely basis of progress, status and/or concerns for each assignment, communicates clearly and effectively with senior management on technical issues, coordinating with appropriate management personnel in implementing change

·         understand and review business requirement for growth and expansion of virtual infrastructure, Capacity Planning, coordinates and directs appropriate level data recovery strategies in support of complex data/media recoverability through system backups and database archive operations

·         Bachelor's Degree preferred and 8 to 10 years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
