Position:   Sr Network Architect

Location: Dallas Texas

Duration: 6 Months

 

Experience:

·         Extremely strong hands on Level 3 global load balancer experience in Radware and /or F5

·         Eight years of solid, diverse work experience in networking and security communications, or the equivalent in education and work experience.  Working experience in large financial firm is A plus

·         Check point firewall environment, Blue Coat proxy, VMware/vShield, Virtualization is A plus

Knowledge and Skills Required:

·         Requires excellent analytical ability for network traffic manipulation and flows, strong judgment and probe analysis techniques, an in-depth knowledge of business unit's functions and applications, and broad knowledge of telecommunication/LAN technologies including TCP/IP, AIX/UNIX/LINUX, Windows and extensive knowledge of network management tools. Knowledge of network security tools. Be able to lead a group of network engineers. 

·         Experience with Radware Load Balancer, DefensePro, AbSolute Vision and or F5 load balancer

·         Check Point firewall experience required including: Provider-1, GAIA,  Virtual firewall and Identity Awareness

·         vShield firewall on VMware and any other layer 2 firewall infrastructure

·         Blue Coat proxy (SG, and Blue coat Director) experience

·         Familiarity with ITIL controls, Change Management

·         Management software including: HPNA, Firemon, Skybox, Firemon, Tufin, OPSware, Splunk, Backbox, Qradar, Cascade, CA eHealth, Netcool

·         Proficient in analyzing sniffier captures

·         Microsoft office applications: PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Visio

·         Proficient in Technical Writing and communication

·         Compliance and audit experience

·         Experience with customer support

·         Preferred working days between Tuesday and Saturday
