Position : Software Engineer with Strong Core Java & Web Services

Location : Sunnyvale, CA

Duration : 6+ Months

 

ETS Platform Eng Team is implementing a POC for iStore - a retail inventory solution. The system needs to scale for very high volume with low latency response.

 

Need a hands-on developer with Strong server side Java skills, Fluent in Developing multi threaded apps

 

Following are +, if they know-

+ Fluent in developing multi threaded apps

+ Experience developing applications with Cassandra with high read/write operations

+ Comfortable performance tuning app

+ Developed apps on Linux

 

Required skills:

- At least 10 years of development experience

- At least 5 years of recent Java development experience

- Web services integration experience

- Experience in multiple programming languages

- Excellent communications skills

- Good documentation skills

- Mac and Linux experience

 

Desired experience:

- Past work as a Professional Services consultant

- Past work designing APIs

- Past work bridging multiple languages (Java, PHP, python, Perl, Ruby)
